Two awesome things in the mail today!
The new issue of Gulf Coast, and a Letter in the Mail from The Rumpus! Needless to say, I did not get all of my work done as soon as I wanted.
Gulf Coast has some great poems (hey, that’s what I read first) by Adrian Matejka and Sandra Simonds, along with an essay by Alan Barstow that I couldn’t not finish. Even though I really wanted and needed to work on my two big-deal presentations tomorrow.
The letter from Sari Botton made me think of my own grandmothers.
