I’ve been busy enjoying spring break and getting some things ready to send out for publication. Of course, my mind does not stop moving during this time out period, and I’ve been thinking of what comes next for the writing.
My in-laws have a dogwood in the front, which has been bare since last October. Since November or so, it has also had a little bit of feather stuck between some twigs:
This poor little feather has become pretty tattered at this point, but has stuck it out through several significant snowfalls, rains, and windy conditions.
Some other things I’ve been thinking about are a scifi short story for my Techno-Orientalism class, and a few other poems, including another tone experiment and maybe working out my Eeyore personae poem.
I’ll update when the submissions go out.
